Revolving Poet, 2016 (based on Man Ray, The Poet, 1938)
In spring 2016 the Link Art Center Brescia invited connected artists to choose and remix original dada artworks provided as a collection of ultra high resolution JPEG downloads.
The nearly century-old postcard-sized photograph The Poet by Man Ray (unedited original goes here) was part of this collection of files and needed only a colorful topping to be identified as the blueprint for the first photographic AR lenses, introduced by snapchat only some months before in late 2015.
